Over the course of more than 40 years, Harper companies has transformed from a small, two-man excavation company into one of Utah’s premier construction organizations. Harper Companies was founded in 1967 with the belief that success can only be achieved through trust and hard work. Trust that is earned from an unwavering commitment to customers, employees and the community and the knowledge that hard work is the only way to gain that trust.

Currently, Harper Companies is comprised of five strategic business divisions: Harper Excavating, Harper Contracting, Harper Sand and Gravel, Harper Ready Mix and Harper Precast.

Last year, Harper Companies moved over six million yards of earth, installed half a million feet of pipe, hauled several million tons of aggregates, crushed over three million tons of sand, gravel and road base, produced and delivered half a million yards of concrete, and completed one of the largest noise-wall projects in Utah.

Although Harper Companies now employs more than 800 people, trust and hard work are still at the foundation of who we are and what we do.
